Last week, I posted an article about burnout, anxiety and mental health.  It’s undoubtedly my most vulnerable piece I’ve written and published.  But these topics can be taboo in today’s world, and I wanted to share my thoughts.

I’ve posted at least one blog/podcast per week (usually more) for 2.5 years – did I mention I have a full-time job :)? – and I have never gotten the response that I did on Monday.

I don’t mean retweets and shares.  I mean direct, private messages, emails, texts of people sharing their personal stories and relating to what I said.

It feels good to have the feedback, but it’s even more important to recognize that burnout is a real issue and one we’re all dealing with at some level.

If you need help, get it.  If you need to talk to someone, do it.  Take care of yourself.  THat’s all I’ll say on that for today.

In other news – the podcast is BACK!  I’m doing a short-form daily podcast where I riff on a topic for ~5 minutes.  It’s intended to be a quick, positive, inspiring message to listen to while you’re getting ready or brewing your coffee.  I’d love it if you listened, subscribed, and left a review on iTunes.

(Listen on iTunes!)

That’s it for today.  Thank you for the continued support.

Make it a great week!
